Our next speaker is the HR Head at TATA Consultancy Services, Dr. Komal Mathur.
In her own words, her passion lies in the `people side’ of the enterprise. HR Strategy and Management, designing new age HR processes and employee engagement platforms, leading change programs for sustained impact at the unit and organizational levels, have been the mainstays of her HR career.
She is also a writer and has had her articles published on PeopleMatters.com wherein she talks about the psychological contract borne out of the mutual relationship between an employer and employee – specifically, the unwritten set of mutual expectations of the employment relationship. It is her utmost belief that for the purpose of creating a superlative employee experience, it is imperative for leadership to be responsive and to engage in a continual dialogue with the employee to address both their overtly stated employee expectations and also the deeper, culturally sensitive, unwritten and unspoken ones. This exercise will earn respect and trust from employees and strengthen the employer brand from within.
